Allyson Felix
Allyson Michael Felix an Los Angeles native born on the 18th November 1985. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix, is a minister who was ordained by Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a teacher of primary schools in Balboa Magnet. Felix was an athletically inclined child and developed a passion for sprinting at Los Angeles Baptist High School. After just 10 weeks of her first attempt, Felix finished 2nd in the 200-meter race at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix agreed to sign a contract with Adidas for an official career at Adidas in 2003, and later enrolled in University of Southern California to pursue a degree in elementary education. Felix was presented with her first Olympic medal at the 2004's Summer Olympics in Athens Greece. Felix ran 200 meters in 22.18s and set a new junior world record. The 2005 Helsinki World Championships saw her becoming the youngest female to win the 200 meter race. She defended the title by beating her Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix competed in her first Olympics in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo regularly placing in the top three places in all her events.
