Allyson Felix
Allyson Michael Felix a Los Angeles native born on the 18th November 1985. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix, is a minister who was ordained by Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a elementary school teacher at Balboa Magnet. Felix had an early aptitude to play sports while studying at Los Angeles Baptist High School. She discovered her sprinting potential at the moment. At her first attempt she was ranked within the top two places at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships for the 200 meters in just 10 weeks. Felix completed high school in 2003, and signed with Adidas a contract as professional athlete. The following year she enrolled at the University of Southern California studying elementary education. Felix took home her first Olympic Medal in the 2004 Summer Olympics which took place at Athens Greece. Felix set an Junior World Record sprinting 200 meters in 22.18 seconds. She was the youngest winner of the 200-meter race during the World Championships in Helsinki in 2005. She won her medal time and time again in 2007 beating her long-time Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix was a frequent competitor at Beijing, London Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo. She consistently placed in the top three of every event.
